Luke Jackson is a young singer songwriter from Chartham, near Canterbury.
The track "Rain" was chosen as one of the top 10 songs of the year on the 'itsafrogslife' acoustic podcast show.

What is your favourite record at the moment?    ‘Fractured Lives’ by Air Traffic (great!)

What are your plans for the rest of 2008?
To keep on gigging, getting more people listening to my stuff and chilling with the old mates.

Which musicians / pop stars should be locked in a dungeon and why?
The Ting Tings! Lol. I just find them irritating.

Batman or Superman?
Batman: Better films and Superman wears his pants over his spandex trousers.

When was the last time you embarrassed yourself?
Chasing after my mate for a bourbon biscuit and falling over in front of everyone, and after that I found out that they weren’t bourbons they were some sort of cup cakes that I didn’t like!

What was the last dream you remember having?
I honestly can’t remember.

What is Canterbury missing?
A place for kids to chill out, and not get kicked out, and more music venues that allow under- eighteens to play gigs there in the evening.

Is it true that chickens can't drown?
I don’t know, never tried drowning a chicken.

What is your favourite film? 
Drillbit Taylor.

Tell us a joke.
A blond lady walks into a shop and asked for a bucket of water and the man behind the till asked her “why do you want a bucket of water?” she said, “I want to drown myself!” the man behind the counter says “well why don’t you just go to the river down the road” she replied “I can’t swim.”

Crisps or chocolate?
Crisps - more flavours and I like making triangles out of the packet after I have eaten them.

Do you have a favourite place in Canterbury?
Dane John Gardens when it’s sunny.

Who would win in a fight between astronauts and cavemen?
Cavemen! All the way. They have big log type thingy that they could hit the astronauts with.

Favourite saying?
“Jeez Louise pupa cheese!!”

Is the truth really out there?
No, I am really an alien from mars.
